The Philadelphia Chapter has adopted a class of 5th graders who attend First Philadelphia Preparatory Charter School.  It is never too early to expose students to the importance of a college education.  Thus, the Chapter is helping the teacher to coordinate an overnight trip for the students to the University Park campus from Monday, March 26th to Tuesday, March 27th.

You can show your support by coming out to a St. Patrick’s Day-themed Happy Hour Fundraiser on Wednesday, March 14th from 6pm-8pm at Mad River Old City (126 Chestnut Street).  The $10 donation at the door will go directly towards funding the trip for the 5th graders. Specials will include $3 Domestic Draft Beer & Mixed Well Drinks, $4 Bottled Beer & All Imports plus Call Liquor, $5 Top Shelf Liquor and1/2 price bar snacks. There will be raffle tickets sold for prizes and you will receive 2 free raffle tickets with your donation!
